Juliann Rich
Care Advocate
Juliann first benefited from chiropractic during college. As a competitive freestyle skier, Juliann was no stranger to pushing her body to the limits. After one particularly bad fall, known as a “yard sale” in the ski world, she found herself face down and skis up at the bottom of a jump, looking more like a helicopter than a freestyle skier. This was more than bad for her ego - it was bad for her shoulders, neck, and head. Juliann was told she needed surgery, which would have taken her out for the rest of the season. That was simply unacceptable so she sought less invasive options and discovered the benefits of chiropractic care. She was able to finish that season and retire from competitive skiing on her terms.
Years later, in a different season of life as a new mom, she turned again to chiropractic for her child who was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. A care team member at Fraser’s recommended chiropractic care to support his nervous system in processing stimuli as he was acquiring new life skills. The improvement was indescribable. His ability to focus increased dramatically, giving him the opportunity to discover a gift that elevated his self-esteem at a critical time in his life and later inspired his career choice. Her son was able to learn new languages with unbelievable ease. He quickly developed a fascination for linguistics. With ongoing chiropractic care supporting his nervous system and how his brain processed information, her son went to college a year early and even studied abroad in Germany. After college, he went to graduate school where he earned his Master’s Degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and is now a Professor.
Juliann is from Rochester, Minnesota. She attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Writing, German, and Speech/Communications & Theater Arts. With consistent chiropractic care, Juliann has been able to ski recreationally and share her love of skiing as an instructor throughout her life. Because of the many gifts Juliann has received from chiropractic, she has made this her career and has worked in chiropractic clinics for 20 years. Helping others discover the endless possibilities of chiropractic care is her passion and she finds immense joy in getting to know people personally.
