Dr. Taylor Boughton
Chiropractic Intern
Dr. Taylor is a Chiropractic intern from Northwestern Health Sciences University with a passion for helping people heal and thrive through neurologically focused care. Having only ever experienced tonal-based chiropractic care before entering school, she experienced substantial improvements in her own health, which inspired her to pursue a career where she could help others experience the same. Her approach centers on the belief that health comes from within and that the body is capable of incredible healing when interference/stress is removed.
Originally from a small town outside Winnipeg, Manitoba, Dr. Taylor has enjoyed the milder winters and warmer summers of Minnesota during her time at school. However, she is preparing herself for a return to "Winterpeg" in the near future where she hopes to serve her community with the compassion and purpose that is experienced at Optimal Life Chiropractic.
She is Advanced Proficiency Certified in Torque Release Technique (TRT), the tonal technique she has studied in depth since her very first trimester of school and she is an active member of the university's TRT club. She is currently pursuing additional certifications through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and the Pediatric Experience (PX Docs), driven by a strong interest in pediatric and family care.
When she is not studying or in the clinic, you'll find her outside soaking up fresh air whether it’s rollerblading, walking, waterskiing, flight boarding or enjoying an outdoor meal. She also has a passion for cooking and loves experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. Her love of movement, nature, and nourishing food fuels her desire to help others live vibrant, healthy and interference free lives.
