Full Spectrum Infrared Sauna Wavelengths
Our full spectrum infrared sauna uses three distinct wavelengths: Near, Mid, and Far Infrared, each designed to penetrate the body at different depths and support overall wellness.
Near Infrared (NIR)
Near Infrared (NIR) light therapy uses invisible wavelengths between 700–1200 nanometers (nm) to gently deliver energy to cells without extreme heat. Research shows NIR is especially effective around 880 nm, supporting cellular function at a surface level.
NIR is absorbed just beneath the skin, where it supports skin health, cellular renewal, and tissue repair. It is commonly associated with improved skin tone, collagen support, reduced inflammation, and overall skin revitalization.
Mid Infrared (MIR)
Mid Infrared (MIR) wavelengths penetrate deeper than NIR, reaching soft tissues such as muscles and joints. This makes MIR particularly beneficial for circulation, muscle relaxation, and recovery.
MIR promotes the widening of blood vessels, improving blood flow and oxygen delivery to areas of tension or stress. When combined with Far Infrared, MIR also supports cardiovascular activity by gently raising core body temperature, similar to the effects of light physical activity.
Far Infrared (FIR)
Far Infrared (FIR) has the longest wavelength and penetrates the deepest into the body. It is known for promoting deep warmth, increased circulation, and detoxification through sweating.
FIR supports joint comfort, muscle relaxation, and overall stress reduction. The increase in heart rate during a session can resemble a mild cardio workout, making FIR a powerful tool for relaxation and metabolic support.
Why Full-Spectrum Matters:
By combining Near, Mid, and Far Infrared wavelengths, a full spectrum sauna provides layered benefits—from skin-level cellular support to deeper muscle, joint, and circulatory support.
This comprehensive approach helps improve circulation, enhance oxygen delivery, encourage natural detoxification, and support whole-body wellness.
Halo Salt Therapy
Halo salt therapy is a gentle, natural add-on to your sauna experience that supports respiratory health, skin clarity, and overall relaxation. As pharmaceutical-grade salt is dispersed into the air, microscopic salt particles are inhaled and absorbed through the skin, helping to open airways, reduce inflammation, and support the body’s natural detoxification processes. Many people find halo therapy helpful for seasonal allergies, sinus congestion, asthma-like symptoms, and stress, while also noticing improvements in skin conditions such as dryness or irritation. When combined with the warmth of the sauna, halo salt therapy creates a deeply calming environment that promotes easier breathing, enhanced relaxation, and a more restorative wellness experience.
